Lonely Planet praises Albania with “Best in Travel 2023”!

We are delighted and excited that Lonely Planet, one of the most important international media has praised Albania as the “Best In Travel 2023”. Follow the link to read more about why to visit Albania and the “How We Choose”: https://www.lonelyplanet.com/albania

“Best in Travel 2023” is a very prestigious award and we believe that will help bring more visitors to Albania, educating them about what to expect in our country.

Lonely Planet, rightly so, is focused on our history, past and recent, but it’s leaving aside other aspects which make Albania worth visiting.

Our nature, with 75% of our territory being covered by mountains, is another reason to come and explore. We are rich with our seaside, but also in lakes and rivers, where you can do breathtaking activities. Our mountains are second to none for their majestic beauty and hiking levels.

We are so proud of our food, traditional and modern, especially wines and spirits. North to south, there are amazing peculiarities and differences, that will make you think you are in different countries.

On top of everything we have our people’s warm welcome, which we can’t explain better than: “Buke, krype e zemer te bardhe” meaning “Bread, salt and a kind heart”.

Go Albania, we really deserve that!
